After reporting on a company near Google’s headquarters that’s developing what looks like a flying car or drone, a couple pictures of crafts very similar to the designs from the patents it holds have come to our attention. The above picture was taken by Greg Espiritu from a helicopter a little less than a year ago.

He used a video camera to zoom in on the bizarre craft, which was parked out on the expansive, abandoned Naval base on Alameda — and then took a picture of the display with his phone.
