Artemis Racing — the professional sailing team and the challenger of record for the 34th America's Cup — has chosen to set up shop at Alameda Point. The team flies the burgee of the 6,000-member-strong, 182-year old Royal-Swedish Yacht Club, known by its Swedish initials KSSS. The 34th America's Cup will take place on San Francisco Bay next year.

Artemis Racing will work from an 110,000-square-foot former airplane hangar at the Point to prepare for the race.
