Alameda Journal: Council names potential developers for Alameda Point, September 17, 2014

The public can learn about potential developers for two parcels of Alameda Point during an open house later this month at the Alameda Free Library, where they will have representatives to field questions and offer information on their qualifications.

The upcoming event follows the City Council voting Tuesday to accept Catellus Development Corp. and Mission Bay Development Group as finalists for redeveloping 82 acres with mostly retail and commercial projects.

Both companies will attend the Sept. 29 event, along with Calgary-based Brookfield Residential and Alameda Point Partners, which the council selected as finalists earlier this month to develop an adjacent 68-acre parcel.
