Excerpt:
Almanac Beer Co., a brewery that has long guest-brewed at local facilities like Speakeasy and Hermitage, is finally settling down in their own Alameda production brewery.
The opportunity came to co-founders Jesse Friedman and Damian Fagan by way of working with craft beer industry vets and new Admiral Malting purveyors Dave McLean (Magnolia Brewing) and Ron Silberstein (ThirstyBear). Together, the four are taking over the wall-bifurcated 1942-constructed redwood building, with Almanac taking the 30,000-square foot side, and Admiral working with the other 20,000-square foot section.
