Alameda Point Collaborative (APC) recently celebrated the official launch of its landscape apprenticeship program with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and the San Leandro Adult School. The program aims to provide career opportunities in landscaping for low-income APC residents.

"This is the first landscaping apprenticeship program in the state, and we are thrilled to forge new avenues to employment with the collaborative and the San Leandro Adult School," said Christine Baker, DIR director.
