The USS Hornet Museum isn't going anywhere anytime soon. The reports in recent weeks that the Hornet will be moving to San Francisco are incredibly premature; at least that's according to Hornet officials.

"We're not actually moving to San Francisco, we're just exploring the options at this point," said Hornet CEO Randall Ramian.

Ramian admitted that the aircraft museum's board of directors has been considering moving the Hornet to San Francisco since "not too long after the museum opened," but said that the board is still not particularly close to making the move a reality.
