Tam considers Alameda Point a real asset to the city. "The Point is a gem in the rough that can be thoughtfully planned and developed to realize the city's vision," she said. She says that the city should consider a range of alternatives for the Point and the impact that each of these alternatives would have on the community, the economy and particularly on traffic.
