My Goals and Vision for the next 4 years at Alameda Point:

• After a quick review of lessons learned and reconfirming the community’s vision we are able to move forward with a balanced job/housing plan.

• Finalizing the historical assets through the Historical Register process.

• Land remediation is 85% complete. Navy has transferred 30% to 65% to ARRA.

VA will be completing its second phase of the 100-acre outpatient clinic and aboveground cemetery (columbarium). This will include a fully funded management program for the Wild Life Refuge (460 acres).

• LNLB2 has started initial phase of their $260 million second campus at Alameda Point.

• LNLB2 serves as a catalyst to bring like businesses such as Life Science and
environmentally sustainable type industries to Alameda Point.

• Adaptive reuse of existing historical buildings to accommodate for a full range of housing utilizing the existing guidelines: density bonus, work-live, and replacement of existing (condos) housing units.
• Selected land parcels will be ready for development by master developer(s).

• A City Real Estate Asset Management Policy is in place, including existing and new
leasing policies, and short-term and long-term uses are in place and being utilized.

• A citywide transportation plan and principles are in place. A citywide transportation shuttle service is designed and funding has been identified. Build upon the existing Alameda Senior Shuttle (Measure B funded) concept.
