The City of Alameda seeks qualified developers for development of a 68-acre portion of Alameda Point (Site A) adjacent to the Seaplane Lagoon. Alameda Point is an 878-acre part of the decommissioned Naval Air Station Alameda within the heart of the Bay Area. Site A is proposed for a mixed-use, transit-oriented, and sustainable residential/commercial project, including the retail core of Alameda Point. Site A will include a minimum of 800 residential units and an undetermined amount of commercial development left to respondents to decide based on market potential consistent with City plans.
