ALAMEDA, Calif. (KGO) -- One of the most famous pictures ever taken is coming to life.

A sculpture of the famous "Times Square Kiss" was put on display Friday at the USS Hornet Museum in Alameda. It is a reproduction of the 25-foot statue that stands in New York's Times Square where the iconic photograph was taken on VJ Day -- Aug. 14, 1945 -- as the U.S. celebrated the end of World War II.
