Recommendation to approve lease agreement between the city and the Water Emergency Transportation Authority (WETA) to construct a 12-berth ferry maintenance facility on Alameda Point's south shore on West Hornet Avenue near Ferry Point Road. Facility is called the Central Bay Operations and Maintenance Facility. Lease was approved by the WETA board of directors on February 5, 2015. Project planning began in 2008 with site selection and environmental review.
