Contra Costa Times: City Council to consider Alameda Point developer, November 12, 2014

Excerpt:

The City Council will consider approving an exclusive negotiating agreement Tuesday with a partnership of developers to build up to 800 housing units and 200,000 square feet of commercial space at Alameda Point.

Alameda Point Partners would pay $108 million for the 68 acres that would be part of a future "Waterfront Town Center" under proposed terms it has worked out with city officials.

The terms also call for the group to build the project's infrastructure as well as an 8-acre promenade and waterfront park around what's known as the Seaplane Lagoon at the former Alameda Naval Air Station.
